Tool List-

  • Roll Of Painters Tape
  • Safety Glasses
  • Gloves
  • Body Saw or Hand Saw
  • File or Sandpaper

Installation Procedure:

  • First off take the painters tape and cover the front painted surface of the bumper the length of the grille to protect it while cutting.
  • To remove the factory grille, grab on each side and firmly pull until the grille releases from the tabs.
  • Wipe down the surrounding area with a clean rag.
  • Next using the body saw carefully cut all three mounting brackets for the factory fog lights. File or sand down all rough edges.
  • Align the new CDC Grille with the factory mounting tabs and apply gentle force until it snaps into place.
  • Using the supplied push pin install the center bracket to the factory hood release mechanism.
  • Remove the tape and clean all surfaces and you are done!
  • Installation took us 20 minutes and was not that bad at all. Just a reminder This kit will also include a set of zip ties, if you are installing this on a factory GT with fog lights you will need to take the harness and put them out of the way. The CDC Performance Grille redefines the aggressive styling meant for your '13 or '14 Mustang. This OE quality replacement grill features a wide-mouth design for an enhanced performance style that greatly cleans up the appearance of your Mustang's front end.

Using the original grille's factory mounting points, the CDC performance grill connects directly with the front fascia of your '13 or '14 Mustang for a perfect factory fit. This is a quick and easy modification that has the ability to completely enhance the front end of your Mustang. Keep in mind, this grille does require cutting of the factory fog light brackets, which cannot be reversed. Now, let's go ahead and show you how to install the CDC Performance Grille into your Mustang.

Cover the bumper the length of the grille with quality blue painter's tape. To remove the grille, grab hold and pull out with some force to unsnap the grille from the bumper. Take this time to wipe down the area.

Next, grab some safety gloves and glasses, since you will be using some sort of cutting tool to remove the fog light brackets in the middle grille shell support. Carefully trim all three plastic pieces with a body saw or Dremel tool. Then, file or sand down any rough or sharp edges and wipe down the area.

Align the new CDC Grille to place, and lightly apply pressure until it clips into the bumper. Then, take the supplied pushpin and secure the grille to the hood release mechanism. Give everything a once-over, and you're all finished.

With about 15 or 30 minutes of your time, you can install the grille right at home. You can either leave your condenser as is with its natural finish or take the time and spray it black for a complete overall look.
