Ford upgraded the 351w engine for the first generation SVT Lightning with an output of 240 horsepower. While that was a good number back in the early 90's, LMR is here to help increase that power output! The most common upgrades include replacing your stock air box with a cold air intake. This is one of the biggest restrictions on your Lightnings engine. Next is changing our to a larger Throttle Body to encourage more air to enter that 5.8L powerhouse! The truck will want more fuel so changing Fuel Injectors and upgrading your fuel pump will be next on the list!
