How To Install Mustang SVE EGR Valve Elimination Kit (86-93)
9/16", 1/2" & 9mm Sockets or Nut Drivers

Being by removing the upper 9/16" nut and the lower 1/2" nut securing the EGR valve to the throttle body. Remove the two 10mm bolts securing the throttle cable bracket to the throttle body. This should just allow extra room to work on the 1/2" nut on the EGR valve.
Unplug the vacuum line and electrical connection from the valve. Remove the valve from the throttle body. Take this time to inspect the gasket. replace as you see fit.
Slide the aluminum eliminator onto the throttle body. Tighten down the nuts and connect the included eliminator plug. You may have to remove the rubber O-ring. The new eliminator has one integrated inside the connection.
Cut the vacuum line and cap it. Inspect your work and starts your car for idle consistency and you're all done.

This kit also includes an EGR eliminator plug that is designed to turn off the check engine light that occurs when the EGR is not hooked up. The plug simply slides in place of the factory connector and turns off the check engine light caused by the EGR Valve.
