CARB restricts the sale of certain parts to California residents, and CARB laws apply to any part that affects vehicle emissions.
California regulates aftermarket parts that have the potential to impact emissions. In most cases, the sale, purchase and/or installation of emissions related aftermarket parts on vehicles is prohibited by law unless deemed a "Replacement Part" as defined by California statute, or is a specifically authorized use of that part as reflected in an Executive Order ("EO Part").
Do not purchase products unless and until you (the “Buyer”) have carefully read this Consumer Disclaimer of Liability (this “Disclaimer”). Be sure to abide by all local, state and federal laws, including but not limited to emissions, vehicle safety and traffic laws. It is your responsibility to know what those laws are and how they apply to you. The installation of any product (the “Product”) on your vehicle indicates that you have (a) had the opportunity to inquire about applicable local, state and federal laws and (b) read and understand, and accept all of the terms of, this Disclaimer.
BUYER MAKES THE FOLLOWING REPRESENTATIONS AND ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The Buyer is responsible to fully understand the capability and limitations of his/her vehicle according to manufacturer specifications, warnings and instructions and agrees to hold Seller harmless from any damages or financial obligations resulting from failure to adhere to such specifications, warnings and/ or instructions.
Please check your local, state and federal laws to determine if you are within your rights to modify your vehicle’s emissions system. You can consult the California Air Board website (https://ww3.arb.ca.gov/msprog/aftermkt/aftermkt.htm) on aftermarket and replacement parts for more information. Seller hereby disclaims any representation or warranty, express or implied, that the use of this Product will comply with local, state, or federal emission levels, noise levels or safety standards.
Buyer hereby assumes all risks associated with the use of this Product and waives all liability claims against Seller of any kind or nature, including liability for penalties, fines, property damage, personal injury or death, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Additionally, Buyer acknowledges and agrees that Seller is not liable for and hereby excludes any and all indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages relating to the Product(s) covered by this Disclaimer.
Bulk Paint & Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)
Due to state Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) regulations, bulk/pint paint cannot be shipped to California. Review your local, state, and federal regulations regarding paints and solvents.
