2015-2023 Mustang Ignition

Keep your 2015-2023 Mustang running at its best with a wide range of ignition restoration and upgrade parts from Late Model Restoration! Spark plug choice depends on both your engine and your power level, stock and mildly modified Mustangs run Stock Replacement plugs, while boosted or nitrous-fed builds need a colder heat range, 1 Step Colder for moderate power adders, 2 Steps Colder for serious ones, to prevent pre-ignition. Plugs and coils are also engine-specific: 5.0, V6, and EcoBoost each use their own part, and 5.0 applications split further by year (2011-16, 2016-17, 2018-26) to match coil design changes. Not sure which plug or coil fits your setup? Our S550 ignition specialists can help you confirm before you order. Keeping your ignition system clean and fresh is the easiest way to ensure maximum power and performance out of your S550 Mustang. Also, upgrade the oil system, air intake, and other engine parts to increase the power output of your Mustang.

S550 Mustang Ignition

A new set of performance spark plugs or coil packs can get your Coyote motor putting down all of its available horsepower and torque. Need to do some routine maintenance? Pick up a set of replacement spark plugs to replace fouled-out plugs!

Which spark plug and coil fit your Mustang? Start with your engine, 5.0, V6, or EcoBoost each use a dedicated plug and coil. From there, match heat range to your power level: Stock Replacement plugs suit factory or mildly modified engines, 1 Step Colder plugs suit moderate power adders, and 2 Steps Colder plugs are built for serious boost or nitrous applications where pre-ignition is a real risk. 5.0 coils and plugs also split by year, 2011-16, 2016-17, and 2018-26 each use a different coil design, so confirm your exact year before ordering.

Not sure which plug your Mustang needs, or what gap to set it at? See our What Spark Plug Do I Need For My Mustang? guide, our Spark Plug Gap Specs guide, or How To Install Mustang Coil Covers if you're dressing up the engine bay.
