Eliminate troublesome engine misfires and poor performance on your 2018-2026 Mustang 5.0 with this Ford Original ignition cylinder 3 coil pack! Over time, your coil packs begin to lose spark, which can result in the air/fuel mixture improperly igniting. If you are experiencing a common P0303 check engine light code or intermittent stumbling under acceleration, the coil-on plugs could be the culprit. The Gen 3 and Gen 4 engines had a unique setup for the cylinder number 3 ignition coil, due to the high-pressure direct injection pump occupying space. Instead of the traditional coil-on-plug setup, they had to remote mount the coil and use a short spark plug wire to connect it to the spark plug. Ford designs this coil with a durable plastic housing with the correct bolt holes and electrical connections for a simple installation on your S550 or S650. This Ford ignition coil is designed and tested to meet engineering specifications for durability and reliability under extreme conditions.
