The 1st Gen Ford Lightning was equipped with two gas tanks, front, and rear. Over time, these tanks may become rusted or damaged, making it necessary to completely replace the fuel tank assemblies. The front fuel tank is a 16-gallon capacity, while the rear fuel tank holds 18 gallons.
