The 2024-2026 S650 2.3L Ecoboost shares similar options from the previous 15-23 S550 chassis. This includes the high output 2.3L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. This Coyote engine features a slight bump in the performance of roughly 20 RWHP. The most notable difference on the Gen 4 coyote is the dual throttle body and intake setup. Ford has stepped up once again with an upgraded performance model over the standard GT. The Dark Horse edition Mustang will feature a dual throttle body intake manifold design. Many European designers have used these dual intake designs for decades. These are known for improving the balance of airflow to each bank of the V8. This dual design will require two separate cold air intake tubes and airboxes for each throttle body.
