Replace your faded, ripped, or worn-out steering wheel in your non-airbag equipped OBS Ford truck with these factory-style options from SVE. One of the most overlooked parts of your OBS truck that sees more use than any other area is the steering wheel. Daily driving takes its toll on your steering wheel, resulting in an unappealing interior appearance. You'll see the grain on the leather turn smooth, shiny, and eventually crack. Mirroring the design of the factory steering wheels, these SVE leather steering wheels for the OBS Ford trucks are thicker and more comfortable than the factory! These SVE steering wheels have a factory-inspired design with both perforated and non-perforated black synthetic leather. Each steering wheel features an all-new frame, new materials, and the grip is slightly oversized to achieve a better driving experience.

Removal & Installation Instructions

Step 1: Remove The Old Steering Wheel

  • Disconnect the negative battery cable and let it sit for at least one minute.
  • Roll your horn pad away from the steering wheel and disconnect it.
  • Loosen and remove the steering wheel bolt with a 15MM socket.
  • Assemble your steering wheel puller and turn the press screw to fully remove the steering wheel.

Step 2: Remove The Factory Parts & Transfer To The New Wheel

  • Loosen and remove the (3) screws that secure the trim to the wheel and then set it aside.
  • Take this time to clean up the surrounding areas and components.
  • Transfer your trim to the new steering wheel and the re-situate it back into the truck.

Step 3: Install The New Steering Wheel

  • With the new steering wheel in position, install your new bolt and torque it to 23-33 lb-ft.
  • Reconnect your horn pad and then reposition it onto your new steering wheel.
  • Reconnect your battery and after that, you are good to go.
