Replace the worn down and deteriorated steering wheel in your 2010-2014 F-150 Raptor with this high quality leather replacement steering wheel from Special Vehicle Equipment®. Over time, your factory steering wheel is exposed to many different harsh conditions that can cause dry rotting, cracking, and flaking. Manufactured with the same material and style as your factory steering wheel alongside the red factory-style sight line, this steering wheel is the perfect interior restoration piece. This black SVE leather steering wheel mirrors the design of your factory steering wheel, and also accepts the factory controls.

Starting with a new frame, this SVE steering wheel has the correct 4-spoke design and feature molded urethane that incorporates the OE-style texture. After the molding process, the steering wheel is wrapped with black synthetic leather and stitched with black thread for a clean, factory appearance.

Removal & Installation Instructions

Step 1: Remove Factory Steering Wheel

  • Start by disconnecting the negative battery cable. Let the truck sit about 30 minutes to an hour for the airbag to properly disengage.
  • Use a small probe tool to disconnect each point of the airbag from the steering wheel. There are (3) locations, one on each side of the airbag and one at the bottom.
  • Once the airbag is disengaged and loose, disconnect the (3) connectors from the airbag. Fully remove the airbag and set it aside in a safe location.
  • Disconnect the clockspring connector.
  • Loosen and remove the T50 Torx bolt securing the steering wheel.
  • Feed the connectors through the steering wheel as you fully remove it.

Step 2: Transfer Factory Steering Wheel Components to SVE Wheel

  • Start by removing the (4) screws securing the center plate of the old steering wheel. Remove the plate and set it aside.
  • Loosen and remove the screw holding the ground wire on with a T20 Torx bit.
  • Using a plastic pry tool, remove the steering wheel controls on each side.
  • Disconnect each connector to fully remove each set of controls.
  • With everything disconnected, remove the wiring harness from the old wheel and transfer it to the new SVE steering wheel.
  • Connect and install the controls to the new wheel and install the center plate.

Step 3: Install New SVE Steering Wheel

  • Feed the wiring harness through the steering wheel as you set it in place.
  • Using a new bolt, install the steering wheel and torque to 35 ft-lbs.
  • Reconnect the clock spring.
  • Reconnect the (3) airbag connectors.
  • Push the air bag into place to complete the install.
  • Reconnect the battery and test for operation.
  • After that, you are good to go!
