Removal & Installation Instructions

Step 1: Remove Old Headlights

• Start by disconnecting the negative battery cable.
• Loosen and remove the Philips head screw/push pin from the top corner near the headlight.
• After the hardware is removed, move the flap out of the way to gain access to the headlight bolts.
• Loosen and remove the (3) 10MM bolts securing the headlight.
• Once the bolts are out, carefully pull the headlight straight out away from the truck.
• Disconnect the (3) electrical connectors plugged into the back of the headlight.
• After that, you can fully remove the headlight.
• Do the same for the other side.

Step 2: Install The LED Harness

• Start by securing the box on the harness to the truck.
• Route the longer connector end to the driver's side headlight area from the bottom. We ran the wiring across the bottom of the radiator.
• Use Zip ties to secure the harness after you route the wiring as needed.
• Next, route the battery wiring on the harness (the cable end with the fuse) to the battery.
• Take the ground wire from the harness and choose an area on the truck to ground the wire. We chose the bolt securing the mounting bracket under the headlight area. You can use this same area for the driver's side.

Step 3: Install The LED Bulbs & Ballasts To New Headlights

• Place the new headlights on a workbench and remove the dust cover.
• Turn the LED bulb retainer counterclockwise and remove it.
• Install the bulb retainer to the new LED bulbs and then reinstall it to the headlight; these are not side-specific.
• Next, take a ballast connector to the new LED bulb.
• Connect the ballast harness connector and the LED bulb connector to the ballast. Both connectors will only plug in one way.
• Install the ballast to the headlight. The hardware will cut new threads into the headlight. Do NOT over-tighten.
• Reinstall the dust cover. Do the same for the other headlight.

Step 4: Install The New Headlights

• Connect the new headlight to the LED harness. We started with the main harness connector, the parking light, then the turn signal connector.
• Then take the original headlight connection and connect it to the new conversion harness.
• Once all of the connectors are connected, tuck the wiring behind the headlight and place the headlight back into its location. The connector for the drivers side harness will not be used. We used a plastic bag and tape to seal it.
• After the headlight is back in place, you can reconnect the battery and test for operation.
• Reinstall the 10MM bolts to fully secure it in place. Do the same for the other side.
• After that, you are good to go!
