Front Spring Removal & Disassembly

1. Lift and Prep
   • Lift the rear end of the car using a jack and securely support it with jack stands.
   • Secure the car on jack stands or a lift. Remove the wheels (21mm), brake calipers (15mm), and rotors. Unclip the ABS lines using a panel tool.
     
     
     
     
2. Remove Strut Assembly
   • Loosen the two lower strut bolts (24mm socket, 21mm wrench) and tap them out.
   • Loosen the sway bar end link (17mm wrench, 18mm socket), then loosen and remove the three upper strut mount bolts (16mm).
   • Remove the full strut and spring assembly from the car.
     
     
     
     
3. Disassemble Spring from Strut
   • Use a spring compressor to safely compress the spring.
   • Remove the top strut nut (21mm), then remove the strut mount, isolator, spring, dust boot, and bump stop.
     
     
     
     

Front Spring Installation & Reassembly

1. Install New Spring on Strut
   
   • Install the bump stop into the dust boot, then slide them onto the strut.
   • Position the new spring (logo up) and align pigtails with the isolators.
   • Compress the spring, reinstall the strut nut, and secure the top mount.
     
     
     
     
2. Reinstall Strut Assembly
   
   • Position the strut back into the car.
   • Secure the top mount bolts, lower strut bolts, sway bar end link, ABS clips, brake rotor, and caliper.
   • Torque everything to spec and repeat on the other side.
     
     
     
     

Rear Spring Removal & Disassembly

1. Drop IRS & Remove Springs
   
   • Support the IRS with a jack.
   • Remove the two main IRS bolts (22mm), loosen the front IRS bracket bolts (13mm), and unbolt the shock mounts (18mm).
   • Remove the spring by lowering the control arm.Then, remove the shock nut (15mm) and slide off the dust boot and bump stop.
     
     
     
     

Rear Spring Installation & Reassembly

1. Install New Rear Springs
   
   • Install the new bump stop and slide the dust boot over it.
   • Position the new spring, aligning both ends with the isolators.
   • Reinstall the shock, brake line bracket, and torque all IRS bolts.
   • Repeat on the other side.
