Hey guys, Landan here with latemodelrestoration.com. If you're wanting to add more styling to the front end of your '05 to '09 Mustang, look no further than our black housing park lights.
These park lights will add that sinister appearance, , all while being easy to install. They'll feature clear lenses, a snap-in design, include detailed instructions, and new bulbs. Now let's go ahead on this '07 Mustang. We're going to show you just how simple this install is.
With your hood open, start by removing the six plastic push pins from the radiator cover. Slide a flat head screwdriver underneath the recessed edge and lift up. If that doesn't work, carefully remove the push pin with needle-nosed pliers. Once removed, lift up the radiator cover and set it aside.
Next, remove the 2 10-millimeter bolts that hold the bumper pillar in place. Pull the pillar up and towards the front of the car to release the top of the bumper.
Next, remove the three Phillips head screws and attach the splash shield to the bumper. Remove the push pin from the splash shield. Carefully pull the splash shield back and remove the two bolts that hold the bumper to the bumper bracket. Do the same for the other side. Then pull down on the bumper to free it from the bracket.
Once free, carefully move the bumper back to remove the park light and fog light connections. Remove the bumper and set it aside. With the bumper removed, locate the two plastic retainers that hold the park light in place. Carefully squeeze the two plastic retainers to release the park light from the bumper. Pull the park light away from the bumper and out to release the front tab.
Rotate both the blinker and park light bulb counterclockwise to release them from the park light housing. Remove both bulbs from the light socket. Replace both with the supplied amber bulbs.
Reinstall both the blinker and park light socket into your new park light assembly. Slide the front tab into the notch on the front bumper and then snap the park light onto the two retainers. Repeat these steps for the other side.
When reinstalling the bumper, be sure to reconnect all of your lights, tighten down the bumper to the bracket, position the splash shield back into place, push your plastic push pin through the splash shield, and tighten the three Phillips head screws.
Push the bumper pillar over the tab, and tighten the two bolts. Then reinstall your radiator cover and six plastic push pins.
