In this article, we dyno Jared’s newly acquired 1993 Mustang GT. After looking over the car, it’s mostly stock except for the aftermarket mufflers and 5.0 Resto ‘93 Cobra-style wheels.

Dyno Technical Data

• Stock 5.0L (302 ci) Engine w/ Air Silencer
• 10° Base Timing
• Stock Exhaust w/ Unknown Aftermarket Mufflers
• T5 Transmission (Pull was made in 4th gear which is 1:1)
• Stock Driveshaft
• 3.27 Rear Gear Ratio
• 17" 5.0 Resto '93 Cobra-style Wheel w/ 275/40/17 Nitto NT555 G2 Tires
• 93 Octane Fuel

Dyno Results

Here are the results! Jared's GT made 168 horsepower and 264 lb/ft of torque. The car is down on horsepower (rated at 205 HP and 275 lb/ft of torque), but definitely, some tune-up items could help increase those numbers! Make sure to follow our YouTube channel for any updates!
