How To Clean & Maintain SVE Wheels

Maintenance Cleaning

Satin, Painted, & Gloss Finishes
  • Rinse Wheels To Remove Loose Dirt & Brake Dust
  • Use A PH Balanced, Acid-Free Wheel Cleaner
  • Clean With Soft Bristle Brushes
  • Wash Regularly
Chrome Finishes
  • Rinse Wheels To Remove Loose Dirt & Brake Dust
  • Use A PH Balanced, Acid-Free Wheel Cleaner
  • Clean With Soft Bristle Brushes
  • Wash Regularly
  • Finish With 3M Chrome & Metal Polish

Deep Cleaning (Every 3 Months)

  • Remove The Wheel From The Vehicle & Clean All Surfaces
  • Use A PH Balanced Iron Deposit Cleaner
  • Remove Tar & Old Wheel Weight Adhesive, If Needed With Dedicated Tar & Adhesive Remover
  • Remove Embedded Contaminants With A Clay Bar
  • Polish Chrome Or Aluminum
  • Apply Protection To The Entire Wheel
  • Reinstall Wheel

Detailing Tips

  • Never Clean A Hot Wheel. Make Sure It Is Cool To The Touch & Out Of Direct Sunlight
  • Don't Use Harsh Chemicals or Abrasive Cleaning Media
  • Brake Dust Is HIGHLY Corrosive
  • Never Use A Drive-Through Car Wash With Agistation Media
