How To Install 2015-23 Mustang SVE Brake Adapters

Our S550 Caliper bracket have (2) options. The only difference being one has the proper spacing for 15.5" GT350 brake rotors, while the other kit has the proper spacing for 15" Performance Pack/Track Pack rotors.

The big thing you will need to be aware of is the wheel clearance template we include on the product page. The customer will need to print this out before purchase or installation to verify the wheels they will be using will work. A minimum of 2.5mm clearance is recommended.

Start by taping this template to some cardboard and use a razor or scissors to cut along the dotted line. The hub area will be a standard 70.5mm Mustang application. Insert the template into the hub area of the wheel and make sure this fits snugly. Rotate the template and check for proper clearance.

1. First, support your vehicle via lift or jack stands and remove both front tires.



2. Next, you will need to remove all of your factory brakes. Check out our S550 factory brake removal video to show you how.



3. Once all of the factory brakes are removed, you can then install the SVE caliper brackets to the factory spindle. When installing these, make sure the SVE logo faces toward the inside of the car.



4. Use the supplied spindle bolts and torque these down to 85 lb-ft.



5. Next, slip the new GT350 caliper over the rotor and install both of the new caliper bolts. These will be a T-60 Torx and torque these down to 136 lb-ft.



6. Once everything is in place, you will need to go over any brake bleeding and pad burnishing procedures for your corresponding brake pads. Also, double check your choice of wheels and make sure that you check for any clearance issues.
