How to Install S197 Mustang Rear Sway Bar Location Brackets

Relocating the sway bar in your 2005-2014 Mustang is a necessity when you are wanting to run a smaller rear drag set up. This will retain the use of your S197 Mustang's factory sway bar while allowing room for a 15" drag wheel set up!

  2. Remove the rear Wheels.
  3. Remove the nuts that secure the sway bar end brackets to the axle assembly and slide the sway bar forward off the mounting studs.
