With the introduction of both port and direct fuel injection, Ford needed to switch up yet again the intake manifold cover for the Coyote powered Mustangs. This time around, they had a lot more accessories to cover. The new engine cover for the 2018-2023 Mustang GT is far from a fan favorite. In this video, Landan shows you how easy it is to remove the "not so attractive" engine cover from your 2018-2023 Mustang GT.

How’s it going everyone? Landan here with LMR.com! In this video I’ll be showing the 2018 Mustang GT owners out there how easy it is to remove the engine cover.
Start off by opening the hood and removing the harness clip from the strut tower brace stud located on the passenger side.
If equipped, loosen and remove the four 15mm strut tower brace retaining nuts; there are two per side.
Remove the strut tower brace from the car.
Use a small flat head screw driver to remove the plastic access covers from the cover.
Loosen and remove the two 10mm retaining nuts securing the engine cover to the manifold studs.
Lift up on the back of the cover to completely remove it from the intake manifold.
Reverse these steps to reinstall it.
