How To Remove S550 Mustang Rear Sway Bar

Tools Needed

• Socket Set
• Ratcheting 18mm Wrench
• 6mm Allen Key

S550 Mustang Rear Sway Bar Removal Instructions

1. Remove The Rear Wheels




2. Remove the 10mm bolt securing the brake line to the bracket.




3. To remove the sway bar end link from the bracket, use an 18mm socket to break the nut loose. Then use a 6mm allen wrench and an 18mm ratcheting wrench to fully remove the nut.




4. Remove the 14mm retaining bolts securing the sway bar bracket to the IRS cradle.




5. Make sure that the end links are removed from the sway bar, and then remove the sway bar from the car.
