If you are painting the flares on the vehicle, clean the flares and surrounding area with quick detailer and a microfiber towel.
Using painters tape and masking paper, mask off the area around the flare, making sure to remove the 5.5mm bolt on the inside of the wheel well to position tape behind the flare.
Using a scotch brite pad and warm soapy water, lightly scuff the fender flare to promote better adhesion of the paint.
Once scuffed, go back over the fender flare with a microfiber towel and isopropyl alcohol to ensure your fender flare is completely clean. Let dry before painting.
Ensure you are in a well-ventilated area before you begin to paint.
Shake the paint can for 1-2 minutes before painting to properly mix the paint.
We suggest test spraying the paint on scrap masking paper to get in the groove of steady strokes.
Lightly apply the first coat of paint, ensuring light, even sprays and let flash dry for 3-5 minutes. Continue this process until you are satisfied with the turnout of your fender flares.
