  21. The instructions recommend waiting at least 30 minutes before you mount the mirror but we at LMR like to wait around 12 hours before mounting to make sure it is fully seated.

  22. After the allotted time has passed, reinstall the rear-view mirror onto the button. Our mirror consists of a small set screw to hold into place but this can differ from vehicle to vehicle.

  26. For those that have already installed a new windshield or already are going to have a new one installed and it doesn’t have a pre-marked area, you will either need to tape some measurements from the existing windshield and button placement or start from scratch.

  28. The easiest way we have found to measure button placement is to measure the overall length of the top windshield and dividing in half to get the center point. You then will take a measurement from the top of the windshield to the AS-1 marking. This is used to regulate how far down you can tint the windshield.

  30. Place the button within that generic vicinity and make sure it is in line with the center point and place the mark where you would like the button to be installed.
