Cabin filters are particularly beneficial for people with allergies and they do an effective job of removing allergens from the air. What's Needed?


Installation Time | 5-10 Minutes


  1. Open Glove Box

  2. Empty out your entire glovebox and push the glove box damper on the right side in, up and out to free your glovebox from the dash.

  4. Push in both sides of the glovebox towards each other until the rubber stoppers clear the housing. Let the glove box drop.

  6. Locate and remove the airbox cover behind the lift cloth panel.

  8. Use the T20 Torx Driver to remove the single screw holding the cover in place. Set aside the cover once removed. (We recommend removing the cover from under the dash. This will allow the most clearance when performing the install.)

  10. Remove the old cabin air filter by using the paper tab connected and pull out. This can be done from both underneath the dash or from the lift cloth.

  12. Before installing the new filter, check inside the air box for debris that can be removed prior to the install.

  13. Look for the arrow on the filter and make sure it is pointing in the right direction before installing it into the airbox. The arrow will be pointing towards the dash for optimal airflow. Slide the filter back into place, with only the tab sticking out.

  15. Fold the air filter tab back into place and reinstall the airbox lid with the T20 Torx Driver. The screw does not have to be extremely tight. Just screw back into place lightly and hand tighten.

  17. Reinstall the glovebox by flipping the lift cloth back into place. Push in both sides of the glovebox until the rubber stoppers clear the box housing. Reattach the glovebox damper by pushing in and down. Place all belongings back into the glove box and you’re finished!
