It's 2024. People like options when it comes to just about everything. The SVE Jack Pad Kit for the 2015-2024 S550 and S650 Mustangs is another option for folks to lift their car. Both front and rear jack pads are closely positioned to the factory lift points and they don't require any modifications to the factory under tray like jacking rails.
 
Included in the kit are two front pads, two rear pads and two retaining bolts that secure the rear pads to the body of the car. The front pads are secured to the k-member with the factory bolts.

Torque Specs

  • K-member to Body Bolts - 85 lb-ft
  • Rear Jack Pad to Body Bolts - 38-40 lb-ft

Installation Instructions


Front Jack Pad Installation


  1. Safely support the driver-side front corner from the pinch weld at the factory lift point.
  2. Locate the (2) factory K-member to body 18mm retaining bolts (see image). We recommend the frontward location.
  3. Loosen and remove the 18mm bolts.
  4. Apply blue thread locking compound to factory bolt and slide it through the front jack pad.
  5. Position the front jack pad into place with the word “jack” and orientation line facing towards the outside of the car.
  6. Run down the bolt and tighten to 85 lb-ft.
  7. Lower the vehicle and repeat steps 1–5 for the passenger side


Rear Jack Pad Installation

  1. Safely support the driver-side rear corner from the pinch weld approximately four inches in front of the factory lift point (see diagram on next page)
  2. Locate the rearwardmost bolt hole grouping. The frontward hole in this grouping will be used (see image).
  3. Slide one of the provided bolts through the rear jack pad.
  4. Position the rear jack pad into place with the word “jack” and the orientation line facing towards the outside of the car.
  5. Run down the bolt and torque to 38–40 lb-ft.
  6. Lower the vehicle and repeat steps 1–5 for the passenger side.
