Late model Ford Mustangs came factory with this exact style of carpet. Cut-pile carpeting is a form of carpet that involves a strategic cut of the loops that are created during the weaving of the carpet. The loops are cut to the same height allowing them to tuft slightly. This procedure gives the carpet pile a very soft and dense construction, providing the ultimate cushion.
