Anderson Shorty Power Pipe This Anderson Naturally Aspirated Power Pipe® is designed for Pro-M 77/80 Long Style meter on 1986-1993 Mustang 5.0L applications. Anderson Power Pipes feature mandrel bent, 4" ceramic coated tubing to improve airflow for increased horsepower, torque, and throttle response! Mustangs with large profile camshafts can even see improved driveability!
Anderson Quality AFM naturally aspirated power pipes were developed because of the need for higher volume, better-flowing intake pipes needed with high RPM 5.0 and big cubic inch 347/408 engines. With the volume of air these engines need, the small factory-rippled intake pipes are too restrictive, and the cold air intake pipes are too small of volume. They rely on the cooler intake charge to gain H.P., which cannot be chassis Dyno tested. AFM dyno's each Power Pipe® to verify horsepower gains.
