Anderson Shorty Power Pipe
This Anderson Naturally Aspirated Power Pipe® is designed for Pro-M 77/80 Long Style meter on 1986-1993 Mustang 5.0L applications. Anderson Power Pipes feature mandrel bent, 4" ceramic coated tubing to improve airflow for increased horsepower, torque, and throttle response! Mustangs with large profile camshafts can even see improved driveability!
AFM naturally aspirated power pipes were developed because of the need for higher volume, better flowing intake pipes needed with high RPM 5.0 and big cubic inch 347/408 engines. With the volume of air these engines need, the small factory rippled intake pipes are too restrictive, and the cold air intake pipes are too small of volume. They rely on the cooler intake charge to gain H.P., which cannot be chassis Dyno tested. AFM dyno's each Power Pipe® to verify horsepower gains.
The AF-0113C Power Pipe® allows the use of 65mm to 90mm race throttle bodies. Will NOT work with C&L and Bullet style mass air meters.
I'm sad to say this kit was very disappointing .The elbow is so large it will not fit a 70mm throttle body. I even cut a smaller diameter tube attached to my throttle body and still it didn't fit. The opening of this tube must be for 80mm throttle body's or bigger. If you have a strut tower brace it most likely will not fit or have modified. Out of this kit the only part I ended up using was the end tube which fit my 97mm abaco mass air nicely. I ended up using my own metal tubing painted black a specture performance elbow. Also I had to add a specture hold down piece because this pipe has a tendency to move once the engine heats up.

Got this for my 94 Stroker build. Looks great, and well constructed. Way better than your everyday CAI. Will be buying these from now on. Thanks Latemodel!
