APR Carbon Fiber Front Splitter w/ Support Rods - Performance Pack
Increase the aerodynamic efficiency of your S550 by utilizing an APR 2015-2017 Mustang Performance Pack carbon fiber front splitter. To combat the effects of front-end lift, front splitters are utilized to give extra traction and control in the front end. By creating a high-pressure area on top of the splitter, high-pressure air flow is restricted from flowing underneath your S550. With low pressure below the car, the effect of lift is reduced, and a driver can gain from the extra traction and control. These are not just add-on cosmetic pieces; every splitter completely covers the entire area below the front bumper. This allows for smoother air flow below the front bumper, creating more efficient downforce. Supporting every APR front splitter is a pair of adjustable stainless steel support rods to prevent flex at high speeds.

Lightweight & Durable Construction

The fully functional undertray measures over 70" wide and almost 24" in depth. APR uses strong yet lightweight materials to keep performance high and weight low. Built from pre-impregnated carbon fiber sheets and cured in autoclave-formed aluminum billet molds, the splitter combines lightweight performance with exceptional strength and rigidity. This construction ensures consistent aerodynamic efficiency, even under heavy loads, while resisting heat and stress-related deformation. A UV-stable clear coat is applied to all carbon fiber parts for great looks and superior protection. Installation hardware, along with detailed instructions, helps you finish out your installation in just a few hours.
