1979-2004 Mustang BMR Lower Control Arm Brackets
Drastically improve the traction, grip, and braking performance of your 1979-2004 Mustang with BMR's rear lower control arm relocation bracket! If the ride height has been lowered on your Mustang, the rear suspension geometry has been altered. To correct this, BMR designed these control arm relocation brackets to add 'anti-squat' characteristics to the rear of your Mustang for the ultimate increase in performance. Featuring a bolt-on design, these brackets correct geometry by providing three additional mounting holes on the axle side of the control arm. These additional mounting holes allow further adjustment of the instant center of the rear end by altering the lower control arm's angle. This change in geometry not only improves the weight transfer to the back tires but also reduces the rate at which the rear of the vehicle raises during heavy braking. Constructed from a lightweight, yet heavy-duty mild steel these brackets are powder coated in a red finish for a durable design built to lasts!
Installation Tip
- 79-98 owners will have to reuse original control arm hardware or purchase new M12 hardware.
- If you have lowered your Mustang, BMR recommends utilizing the top or middle mounting hole of these brackets.
- If your Mustang has factory ride height, BMR recommends the middle or bottom mounting hole of these brackets.
