BMR Driveshaft Safety Loop
Protect yourself and your Mustang from U-joint failure with this 2005-2014 Mustang driveshaft safety loop from BMR! If a U-joint fails while at a high RPM, the driveshaft can break away and punch through the floor board of your Mustang. BMR safety loops are manufactured out of NHRA legal 1/4" x 2" plate steel. This design is a true bolt-on using existing mounting holes, no welding or drilling required. This safety loop is finished in a black hammertone powdercoat finish that resists corrosion and road debris. This is a must for vehicles that endure hard acceleration such as drag racing or open track racing. NHRA requires a driveshaft safety loop for cars running 12.99 or quicker in the quarter mile.
Fitment Note
When running aftermarket long tube headers, there may be interference between the mid-pipe and the driveshaft loop. This can easily be remedied by dimpling the exhaust tubing for clearance.
