Simplify your Coyote or modular engine swap in a Fox Body Mustang with BMR’s Tubular K-Member & Control Arm Kit. Perfect for drag or road racing, this setup retains factory wheelbase and reduces front-end weight for improved traction and weight transfer. Finished in durable red powder coat, it resists corrosion while increasing clearance for headers and oil pans—ideal for coilover conversions.

BMR Tubular K-Member
Made in the USA from 1.5" DOM tubing and 3/16" plate steel, this 20-lb k-member cuts 28.5 lbs more than stock. It is engineered with SN95 steering geometry for improved bump steer and better handling on the street or strip.

BMR Front Control Arms – Standard Ball Joint
These non-adjustable tubular arms use 1.50" & 1.25" DOM steel for strength and weight savings. Heavy-duty ball joints and greaseable 95-durometer polyurethane bushings enhance response and reduce noise. Fluted bushings ensure proper lubrication and quiet operation. Designed for use with coilover struts and proudly made in the US!

Required Parts

1979-1984 Mustang owners will be required to use 85-04 rack bushings.
This K-Member requires the use of a front coilover kit.
Requires the use of caster camber plates.
If running 94-04 spindles, you will need to run Ball Joint Spacers

Fitment Notice

1979-1993 Ford Mustangs with 4.6L 2V/3V/4V, 5.4L 2V/3V/4V, and 5.8L 4V modular based engines
1979-1993 Ford Mustangs with 5.0L DOHC and 5.2L DOHC Coyote-based engines
Depending on your vehicle, modification of the stock steering shaft or a low-profile steering shaft may be required.
The ball joints on these control arms do not include pre-applied grease. You will need to grease the ball joints after installation.
Factory and aftermarket engine mounts may have alignment pins that can cause fitment issues. Removal of the alignment pin might be necessary for the correct mating of the engine mount to the K-member.
