Belltech Nitro Drop 2 Shock Absorber Kit
Ensure the ride quality of your lowered 1999-2004 SVT Lightning is comfortable while also increasing performance with this Belltech Nitro Drop 2 shock kit. Stock shocks on your Lightning leave a lot to be desired when it comes to comfort and handling replacing them is a great way to add both. Belltech Nitro Drop 2 shocks are designed with daily driven Lightning's in mind to provide a unique blend of great ride quality while still performing like your Sport Truck should. Belltech Engineers increased the low-speed compression and modified the rebound forces of the shock valving to provide a factory-style ride comfort while still providing better road feel and grip. Shortened bodies match with the different lowering methods, ensuring you have the correct amount of shock travel for up to 2" front and 3" rear drops. Nitro shocks have hardened chrome 12.5mm piston rods with 30mm pistons and a 45mm wide body for increased oil volume and valving control. OEM quality rubber bushings. Teflon seals, triple lip NBR rod seals, and metal dust boots will help them stand up to any punishment they are put through.

About This Brand

Created in 1983 as a small company in Fresno, California, they had an idea to build the “best performing” lowering suspensions for pickups. Fresno had been a haven for lowered vehicles and trucks were in abundance. Trucks were being lowered but their suspensions were terrible and not very roadworthy. Springs were either replaced with new ones not necessarily meant for the application and even worse they may be cut or heated with a torch at the local muffler shop to give the lowered stance that was cool. The stance looked good but the ride was terrible. Belltech’s success in the late 1980s and 1990s made it possible for the company to grow from a modest beginning to a larger manufacturing facility with a satellite warehouse and finally in 2015 to the current 75,000+ sq. ft. operation located in Clovis, California. The Clovis facility has made it possible to expand every aspect of the operation.
