Is your Main Stud for the oil pick up tube damaged or stripped on your 5.0 302? Replace it with a new one by Canton from LMR.com. Sometimes these studs are damaged or lost during a rebuild now you have the ability to replace it with a new one and support that oil pickup correctly. Latemodel 5.0L 302s have rear sumps which require a long pickup tube running from the front mounted pump to the rear of the pan. These rear sump equipped engines have a main cap bolt to support the pickup while early style engines may not. For those applications we offer these main cap bolts.
