When building a new motor one of the vital components needed is engine break in oil. Due to government regulations, oil manufactures have removed the Zinc and other additives to their motor oils. Using an oil with these essential additives removed can lead to engine failure. Comp Cams has designed this engine break-in oil additive to extend the durability of engine components during the break-in process. By using a blend of extreme pressure additives the off-the-shelf oils no longer have, this Comp Cams Engine Break-In oil provides added protection during the break-in process. This additive will work with any petroleum, synthetic or blended motor oil.
-Improve surface mating of rotating assembly, rod journals, piston rings, valve guides, cam & lifters, etc.
-Protect all internal engine components, including both flat tappet & roller valve trains.
-Proprietary additive package includes optimum amounts of ZDDP (Zinc & Phosphorus), Molybdenum & detergents.
-Require no additives or supplements for maximum protection.

I have been restoring my car for a long time. The engine is a 331 stroker afr 185 heads, trick flow r series intake, 1 3/4 in long tubes with flow master dumps. Sounds awesome and love it every ride. ...
