DSS Carbon Fiber One Piece Driveshaft - GT350/Mach 1
Improve the overall performance of your TR-3160 equipped 2016-2023 Mustang Shelby GT350 or Mach 1 with the DSS carbon fiber driveshaft. Replacing your factory 2-piece drive shaft with a solid 1-piece driveshaft provides improved driveline strength and reduced rotational mass which will translate into faster acceleration, better track times, and less probability of broken driveshafts. Factory 2-piece driveshafts are designed to provide smooth performance but at the cost of reduced performance. The factory driveshaft is weaker by design with it divided into 2 sections compared to 1-piece designs. The one-piece carbon fiber provides improved torsional strength over factory steel, without increasing vibrations.

Strength By Design
The Drive Shaft Shop designed this driveshaft to handle up to 1000 hp from your Mustang. The DSS driveshafts feature a solid 1350 Spicer U-Joint and billet ends to provide a solid mounting point to your transmission and rear axle assembly. This updated design eliminates the adapter plate at the rear end, with a precision ground CV that fits inside the pinion flange just like the factory. DSS also provides special 12.9-strength hardware to replace your factory hardware and provide bolt-in installation.

Product Note

If using solid rear IRS bushings and a one-piece driveshaft NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) will increase.
Emergency brake cable bracket clearance/ relocation may be necessary.
Rear Subframe/Cradle Lock-out kit MUST be installed on the vehicle prior to installing a Driveshaft Shop 1-Piece Driveshaft. Any damage to the driveshaft (or any subsequent damage) caused by failing to properly reinforce the rear cradle and limit movement will void any and all warranty provided by The Driveshaft Shop.
