This revamped ultra-high-performance summer tire is designed with Enliten, an eco-focused tire technology that emphasizes low rolling resistance for better fuel economy. Proprietary Pulse Groove™ technologies enhance water evacuation to reduce the risk of hydroplaning. Utilizing an improved silica-enhanced rubber compound molded into an updated asymmetric tread design featuring large shoulder blocks for a race-inspired look. The Firehawk Indy 500 tire has increased both wet and dry performance, shorter stopping distances, and still provides a quiet ride and a long life. The V2 offers a higher Y-speed rating compared to the V1's W-rating for even more performance
