EGR Valve - 5.0Eliminate the annoying check engine light in your EFI equipped 1992-1995 Bronco 5.0 for a faulty EGR valve with this brand-new EGR valve! Whether your Bronco suffers from poor/rough idle, bucking on acceleration, illuminated Check Engine Light, or a combination of these, the EGR valve may be to blame. An EGR Valve, or Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve, is a component of the emissions system. Its function is to recycle a small amount of exhaust gas back into the intake air to help cool the combustion process for a complete burn of the air/fuel mixture. Two of the most common things that cause an EGR valve to fail are carbon build-up on the valve opening, not allowing it to seal off properly & a punctured, torn, or deteriorated vacuum diaphragm not allowing the valve to open at all. Made from durable steel construction with the correct mounting flange and threaded bung for the EGR exhaust tube, making it a direct bolt-on for the original. Supplied with new gaskets for both the tube and the mounting flange as well as new screws for the diaphragm hat makes for a quick and easy installation.
