This small spring that is mounted to the vent window frame allows you to adjust the tension on the vent window, keeping it from rattling or not staying in place when open. These often lose their tension, causing a floppy window or a rusted solid, making it hard to open. Made by Dennis Carpenter as an exact reproduction of the originals with the correct spring rates. Manufactured with all of the correct dimensions and measuring in at 1" tall. This is a great part to install when you are replacing your vent window seals to add an extra touch to your restoration.
