Made of 10.9-grade steel with a silver zinc finish, correct lengths, and thread pitch this hardware is the perfect solution for your suspension overhaul project. The included J-Nut clips feature Property Class 8 strength for durability that lasts. 5.0 Resto K-Member Nut Plate Kit
From the factory, your Mustang's K-Member was secured at the rear with a loosely installed nut plate that utilized press-fit nuts inside the body. This design led to many complications such as corrosion and cross-threaded nuts causing misalignment after numerous removals. To resolve this troublesome issue, 5.0 Resto has developed a superior design to ensure a trouble-free removal and installation of your Mustang's factory or aftermarket K-Member. Manufactured with durability in mind, these nut plates are constructed from thick, heavy-duty steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant black e-coat. Utilizing the factory bolt hole spacing, this k-member nut plate kit is the perfect solution for the failure-prone factory units, which were known to strip and spin freely or are missing entirely. To correctly secure the rear section of the k-member, 5.0 Resto provides zinc coated, 10.9 grade bolts for additional peace of mind.
