Replace the corroded battery cables in your carbureted 1979-1985 Mustang 5.0 with this high-quality Daniel Carpenters battery tray and cable kit! Your battery cables are vital to operating the charging and starting system of your Fox Body. Excessive corrosion, engine bay heat, and general wear will deteriorate your battery cables. This can cause numerous issues such as voltage drop, battery drain issues, improper charging, and unsafe operation of your Fox Body. This kit includes a new battery tray, hold down, hardware, positive, and negative battery cable, as well as the solenoid to starter cable.

Quality Cables
Each cable features factory-correct lengths with the correct connections just like your OEM cables for a factory look. Heavy-duty vinyl rubber sheathing over the wires with a protective convoluted tubing loom protects the cables from engine bay heat and abrasion. Copper wire is used throughout, with the proper gauge cables to ensure full voltage with out any dropoff. Durable battery terminals are used alongside corrosion-resistant hardware for quick and easy installation!

Battery Tray Kit
In your Fox Body, the "battery hold-down clamp" is designed to do exactly what its name implies, to hold down the battery in the tray. It does this by wedging itself against the base of the battery and the battery tray, thus preventing the battery from moving around while you are driving. Daniel Carpenters's battery tray kit comes with everything you need to keep your battery secure in your engine bay. This kit features a black molded plastic battery tray, battery tray hardware, a battery hold-down, and a battery hold-down bolt to help protect your engine bay from corrosion and keep your battery secure. These battery trays are also needed to pass tech inspection at the race track!
