This 1987-1993 Mustang 5.0 battery tray and cable kit will restore the components your battery needs to function and stay secure. This kit includes a new battery tray with hold down and hardware, positive battery cable, negative battery cable, and starter cable. These components will ensure your battery is powering your Mustang safely and securely.
Battery Tray Kit The battery tray in your Mustang mounts to the front fender apron and provides a safe place for the battery to sit while protecting the metal apron from the corrosion caused by the battery. It is extremely common for the plastic battery trays found in Mustangs to be completely rotten after years of abuse. Once your battery tray has reached this level of deterioration your Mustang is generally unsafe to be driven on the open roads and will probably not pass tech inspection at the race track. This kit includes a new tray, mounting hardware, and battery hold down clamp.
