Replace that annoying hood prop rod with these 1979-1998 Mustang Quicklift hood struts from Redline. These Quicklift hood struts mount to your Mustang's fenders and hood to support the hood while also getting more clearance. Featuring a black strut housing with the Redline Tuning logo, this kit also includes powder-coated hardware for years of durability. The brackets are designed for use on fiberglass hoods as well as the shocks which have lighter pressure to keep from warping the hood. Additionally, the struts are designed to slow down when approaching the top of the extension to reduce stress on the fiberglass hood!
