The distributor cap is a vital part of your engine as it's the connection point for everything to run properly. This 1986-93 Mustang distributor cap features aluminum terminals that provide high conductivity for your Mustang's ignition system. One of the other common components needed for a good tune up is the Mustang distributor rotor. The rotor spins inside the distributor cap and transfers voltage to each terminal. This part is commonly broken and is vital to your engine running as well. The new cap adapter will replace the worn out clips to ensure everything is held in place properly.
