Your spare tire is a vital component to your Mustang as it ensures you're not stranded on the side of the road with a flat. Since this isn't an everyday problem, you'll want to ensure the spare tire components are locked in place when not in use. One of the key components to securing everything in place is the spare tire wing nut. This wing nut screws onto the end of the spare tire J-bolt and applies pressure to the jack and spare tire to ensure they don't slide around in your trunk. Constructed with durable plastic in the shape of your factory wing nut, this spare tire wing nut allows you to gain the proper leverage to tighten everything back down. The threaded metal insert is the same thread as your original so it'll screw down quick and easy!
