1986-1993 Mustang Front Fender Apron Pair w/ Factory Holes
Restore the engine bay of your Fox Body with this 5.0 Resto 1986-1993 Mustang fender apron kit! Whether you've been in a collision, or just want to freshen up your engine bay, these 5.0 Resto fender aprons are the perfect solution. Featuring the factory holes and component attaching points, this kit is sure to make your engine bay look showroom new. This Mustang fender apron pair is tooled off the last available production pieces from Ford. They come primed in a black e-coating to prevent corrosion as well as aid in paint prep. Each apron has the factory-correct holes for major items such as the airbox, washer reservoir, and attaching nut plates to be a true engine bay restoration item.
Product Note
- The hole in the passenger fender apron, behind the airbox, was leftover from the factory on carb cars that had snorkels. EFI cars had a plug to fill this hole. You can transfer your stock plug or purchase a new plug here.
- Welding is required for installation - To install this apron, the factory apron must be removed. These are not overlays, they are full replacements. Because this is a structural piece, it cannot be riveted and must be welded into place. Because of the nature of the installation, we strongly suggest a competent body shop perform the installation With minor modification, these aprons will work on 1983-85 Mustangs..
