5.0 Resto Under Hood Restoration Kit Easily restore the engine bay in your Mustang with this complete kit of 1989-1993 Mustang under hood components! This 5.0 Resto kit includes the most common under hood components that wear out over time. You'll receive a new hood insulator with push pins, hood hinge cups, and a new hood bumper kit!
Hood Insulation If your factory under hood insulator is oil-soaked, torn & ratty, or has gone missing over the years, it's time to replace it. The under hood insulator plays an important role in your Mustang's engine bay by retaining proper operating temperature. The insulator does all of the work for the engine in more extreme temperatures and serves as a blanket in the winter & a shield in the summer. The new insulator includes new push pins to attach it under your hood.
Hood Rubber Bumper Kit This kit includes a new hood bumper package. If you're installing a new hood or you notice your stock hood is sagging, then it may be time to replace your factory hood bumpers. This hood bump stop kit will ensure your hood is aligned properly. The kit includes two core support hood bumpers and four fender mount hood bumpers.
Hood Hinge Cups This kit concludes with a pair of rubber hood hinge cups. These are the cups that bolt to the cowl panel behind the hood hinges on your Mustang. These can become worn out over the years necessitating their replacement.
