Install this New and revised Daniel Carpenter 1979-1993 Mustang firewall to hood seal to help protect your engine from the elements! Over time, the OEM firewall seal tends to get damaged or deteriorate. LMR carries a complete line of replacement weatherstrip to keep the elements where they belong. This is the newly revised Firewall to hood seal for 79-93 Fox Body Mustangs and now has the correct radius to form correctly to the hood surface, so there is no more pop up of the ends. The firewall seal is located at the top edge of the firewall where the hood meets the cowl. Its main function is to seal the factory hood to the Mustang firewall to help reduce wind noise and keep debris from entering the engine compartment there.

This seal arrives rolled in a box. Waviness will be present upon arrival, but once installed with the hood shut, the hood will conform to the new position and all waviness will be gone.
