After years of use, the hood release handle and cable can become worn or damaged. This can keep the hood from releasing preventing access to your engine bay. This handle is constructed of a combination of a durable plastic release handle and a braided steel cable. The hood release handle will ensure a long service life and reliable performance by properly releasing the hood latch and making sure the handle is properly secured. Featuring OE mounting locations, and a rubber firewall grommet this new hood release cable is made to be a direct replacement for a straight forward installation. The correct white indicator lettering is also applied to help properly locate the correct handle and enhance the interior appearance of your 2005-2009 S197!
