Mustang Starter Solenoid Hardware
These are the screws that retain the starter solenoid to the fender apron on 1986-93 Mustangs. They are not exactly like the original because Ford made a few changes to the screw over the years, however it still looks & performs just as well. The only difference between this screw & the original is the design of the washer head.
These screws are also used in a few areas to retain the Fuel Lines & Brake Lines to the underside of your 1979-93 Mustang.
This screw features a Yellow Zinc Dichromate finish, is sized at M6.3x13mm, & measures 8mm across the flats of the hex head.
I received black screws, which are not the same appearance as OEM. Original equipment is the gold color as pictured. But that is not what I got. They will work if you just want something that is the same size but I'm restoring my mustang and they won't work for me since they don't look original. Wish they were as pictured. Now I waited too long to return the item.
