What's in the Box

(1) Evaporator To HVAC Box Seal

1982-1993 Mustang 5.0 Resto Evaporator To HVAC Box Seal

Restore the HVAC box in your 1982-1993 Fox Body Mustang with this premium 5.0 Resto evaporator-to-HVAC box seal! When replacing an evaporator core in your Mustang, it is crucial to replace components that are worn, deteriorated, or falling apart. When removing the dash or the HVAC box, the foam seals tend to fall apart. This main seal is located between the evaporator core and the HVAC box itself, sealing the tubes. If not replaced, this can create a void between the box and the evaporator core, allowing air to escape under the dash area instead of through the box and out to the vents. The provided seal eliminates the messy foam particles commonly found on the floorboard for the ultimate peace of mind.

5.0 Resto Quality

Dedicated to the preservation of Fox Mody Mustangs, the experts at 5.0 Resto have taken the time to meticulously recreate the hard-to-find items to restore every aspect of your Mustang accurately. To bolster the ultimate attention to detail, 5.0 Resto utilizes a thick black foam to recreate the seals. To provide a superior fit and finish, this seal is made with factory dimensions and tolerances and is pre-cut for a simple installation!
