The blower motor resistor is responsible for controlling the blower motor speed which is done by varying the voltage supplied to the blower motor. This resistor is usually the culprit if your A/C or heater fan is malfunctioning. This blower motor resistor is located under the dash on the evaporator box and is common to be worn or broken after years of service. Made using the same construction as the original with the proper temperature cutoff for your S197 Mustang.
