This 5.0 Resto 1987-1993 Mustang weatherstrip kit helps replace your worn, torn, and leaking Fox Body weatherstripping for a perfect seal. Seal up the doors, trunk/decklid, and get the windows sealed as well with this comprehensive kit. Eliminate wind noise, water leaks, and keep the elements outside from your Mustang. This kit features door to body weatherstrip, outer door belt weatherstrip, window run weatherstrip, and trunk/hatch weatherstrip.
Mustang Door To Body Weatherstrip
This 1987-1993 door to body weatherstrip is a direct replacement for your ripped factory seals. This weatherstrip runs around the full door opening and seals the door to the body of the car when closed. These door seals tend to sag or get stepped on causing them to cause leaks and wind noise.
Mustang Outer Door Belt Weatherstripping
This 1987-1993 Mustang outer door belt weatherstripping, commonly referred to as dew wipes, are located on the outer top edge of the door, touching up against the window glass. These rubber belt weatherstrips have felt on the window side to prevent scratches & attach to the door with small pop rivets (rivets not included). After many years of exposure to the elements, the outer belt weatherstrip becomes cracked & no longer funtions properly (plus it doesn't look very nice!).
Mustang Window Run Channel Weatherstrip
Replacing 1987-1993 Mustang window run channel weatherstripping can help fix leaks, wind noise, and debris from getting into your interior. This weather strip runs in the inside of the window frame in which the door glass rolls up into. Factory seals tend to crack in the upper corner causing leaks and wind noise.
Mustang Hatch/Trunk Weatherstrip
Over the years, your Mustang hatch and trunk weatherstrip can become worn, torn, or start to deteriorate. This can be caused from the Fox Body rear latch striker being loose or exposure to the elements. When your hatch or trunk weatherstrip becomes worn, you can experience wind noise, water leaks, and weatherstrip debris in your trunk. This cut to fit weatherstrip is designed to install just like factory seals and allows for better protection from the elements.
